The Blue Tomato Cafe (2215 E. North Ave.) which opened last November announced via its Facebook page this morning that its last day will be this Saturday.
“We regret to inform you that Blue Tomato Cafe will be closing on Saturday, March 12th. During our short existence we have failed to attract enough customers, but we truly appreciate the ones that stopped by and tried us! We would like to also express our gratitude to our valued employees; we’re very sorry things didn’t work out!”
I was a frequent customer at the Blue Tomato Cafe and realy enjoyed its friendly service, fresh coffee and its homemade fillo dough pastries.
I wish Mitch and his wife the best of luck.
