Matty’s Bar & Grille in New Berlin is betting on its new Smoklehouse burger. The new creation launched November 1st is creating quite the burger buzz around town.
So what’s so special about this new burger?
Matty’s tells us that each burger is made from Certified beef brisket, seasoned, and then smoked for about 3 hours in an in-house smoker that’s filled with a special blend of flavored wood chips. From there it’s cooled, then ground and infused into a Certified Black Angus beef. Together they are hand-pattied to create a 1/2 pound mouth-watering experience.
Matty’s is also featuring a special daily Chef’s creation of the new burger (see November schedule below) , or you can top it off anyway you like.
The restaurant is currently running a “Build your own Burger” contest that will run for two more days. Guests can create and name their own Smokehouse burger using the online form here ,or on the table tents located inside the restaurant.
Guests can build their dream burger using the ingredients they feature in house, or they can list ingredients they do not have. After all submissions, Matty’s culinary team will go through all entries and choose a handful of finalists.
The finalists will then be entered into Matty’s inaugural “Taste Off” that will be held in December. Three (or four) of the finalist burgers will be recreated and judged by a panel of judges, with the winner recieving a permanent place in Matty’s collection of burgers, and will also win free burgers for one year.
