The Dubliner Irish Pub on S. 2nd Street closed in July of 2001, not in 1997. It was privately owned by Ann James, not part of The Dubliner chain in other cities as previously reported in the Business Journal. All the best with this new pub venture though!

I do know the 1997 date is wrong, because I was partying in the real Dubliner on St Paddy's Day 1998. God I miss that place. I miss the bands. I miss the best, toughest bartender in Milwaukee back then, Katie.
