Winter is quickly getting away from us and that can only mean one thing: it’s time for WMSE’s biggest fundraiser, the 8th Annual Rockabilly Chili Contest.
47 restaurants – Fifty-seven kinds of chili – 42 with meat, 15 without – will be bubbling away at the Rockabilly Chili contest Sunday, March 7 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Kern Center.
Admission is $6, and the chili is $1 a sample. Proceeds will benefit Community-Powered Independent Radio WMSE, 91.7 FM. Guests who bring two nonperishable food items get one free sample, four or more items get two free samples. All food will benefit the Hunger Task Force.
