Chef-owner Mike Engel officially opens his Pastiche Bistro and Wine Bar in Bay View tonight.
If you drove by the French-style bistro this weekend, you may have noticed some action inside as the restaurant was hosting its soft-opening for family, friends, and staff.
About the Pastiche Bistro and Wine Bar (from its website)
“Pastiche” is a French word that, roughly translated, means an incongruous combination of fragments taken from different sources; a patchwork, medley or potpourri. In our restaurant, it’ll mean a seasonally changing “patchwork” of menu and wine list offerings that bear the influences of the different dishes we love from the warm, robust cuisines of the Mediterranean; Southern France, Spain and Italy. An incongruous but delicious collection of our favorite things that we’re sure will bring you back time and time again.
Pastiche is open for dinner Monday through Thursday from 4pm-9pm, Friday and Saturday from 4pm-10pm, and closed Sunday.
Enjoy half-price appetizers Monday-Thursday evenings from 4pm-6pm, and wine by the glass specials nightly.
Pastiche will also be available for luncheons and dinners serving groups of up to 30 people.
